eConsent Myth #4: eConsent is not used and won't be accepted outside of the United States

As we continue on the path to electronic informed consent on the clinical trial road map, the next myth is that eConsent isn't ready for global scale.  Transcelerate Biopharma has cracked this myth, showing that 29 countries have already had eConsent submissions.

In addition, the idea that eConsent is or will not be used is similar to what the industry said when Electronic Clinical Outcome Assessments (eCOA) were introduced.  No one thought that eCOA would be accepted, but we are now seeing eCOA compliance rates 3x greater than paper!
